1 min readWe’re well and truly in barbecue season 🍔 This was one of the best barbecues we’ve had in a long time. The PERFECT burgers consisted of the vegan brioche buns from Aldi, Beyond Burgers cooked over hickory chips, melted vegan Applewood cheese, ketchup, American mustard, gherkins and finely chopped white onion. It’s basically an elevated, vegan version of a McDonalds Quarter Pounder with Cheese (my pre-veggie favourite) 🔥 We also had Heck vegan chipolatas, roasted vegetable couscous, olives, mixed salad, Lidl vegan coleslaw, and new potatoes roasted in olive oil, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper 😍 Honestly this was unreal – I am so pleased we’ve made it to barbecue season 🎉
