I love this idea – you share a meal from a country that you’ve travelled to or would like to travel to in the future, and I’d definitely like to travel to Japan one day 🇯🇵
This sushi is by no means perfect. I definitely overcooked the rice and overfilled the rolls – they are ✨fat✨ but the overall flavour was delicious! I filled mine with Linda McCartney shredded vegetarian duck (not Japanese, I know) which I’d pan fried in hoisin sauce, along with spring onions, cucumber, yellow pepper and radish. After I took this picture I splashed over a shower of soy sauce and a ginger, garlic soy mayonnaise that I quickly whipped up!
